    light appears and fades makes statues come alive.

    the red button is random? the yellow is definitely

    random. all buttons are random but red tends to 

    identify more than anything else.

    250 = recharge staff

    1000 = ? + on item?

    I think any scroll can make a statue come alive...but

    I'm not sure what dispel magic (fading light) actually

    does...

      One theory is that it "dispels traps" on a level

    when you use it.

     The other day I used a dispel magic scroll in a room

    with only a statue in it...The results? The statue becomes

    alive.

    I animated one, but I was standing on another, and I  have

    not repeated this since then.

    I just used "enchant armor" in a room with a statue and

    it became a faery (sp)

    I wonder what would happen if you read a scroll while

    sitting on a statue...
